In honor of local libraries, LEGO DUPLO and the Association for Library Services to Children have joined together for a project called “LEGO DUPLO Read! Build! Play!”

WE NEED YOUR VOTES!! Anyone can log onto www.readbuildplay.com and nominate your favorite library. Nominations can be done once per day per computer, device or smartphone. Nominations are accepted through October 1, 2012. The library with the most votes will receive $5,000 for books and supplies. The top 200 libraries will receive a special preschool literacy toolkit. Support your local library by logging on and voting! Thank you to all of our library patrons, ALSC and LEGO DUPLO who continue to support their local libraries.

September is library card sign-up month! Parents and children, a library card is the most important school supply of all. It gives you access to books, movies, reference materials, free programs, NCLIVE, access to computers and much more! Best of all, it is free! Stop by your local library and register for a library card today!
