YADKINVILLE — Last Wednesday, officers with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office and Yadkinville Police Department wrapped up a two-month investigation into the sale and distribution of cocaine and marijuana.
Officers executed a search warrant at a residence on North Ridge Drive in Yadkinville. During the search, officers discovered cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Two suspects were taken into custody.
Regena Ann Chambers Williams, 61, of Yadkinville, was charged with two counts of felony maintaining a drug dwelling and possession of a schedule II controlled substance (cocaine). Williams is being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $40,000 secure bond. Williams had been released on bond earlier in the year on similar drug charges.
Rakem Deshawn Chambers, 26, of Yadkinville, was charged with four counts of felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule VI controlled substance (marijuana), three counts felony sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substance (marijuana), and two counts of felony maintaining a drug dwelling. Chambers is being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $20,000 secure bond.
