JONESVILLE — The Jonesville Historical Society will welcome the public for its Old Fashioned Christmas Open House on Dec. 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the History Center, which is located at 458 W. Main St. in Jonesville.

Historical Society members will be dressed in period clothing to give tours and demonstrate such activities as knitting, sewing and painting. Music and storytelling will be performed as well.

Old-fashioned refreshments will be served including Russian tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cheese straws and cookies as well as sausage balls, homemade mints, and pumpkin cake.

Society President Becky Wood was excited about the upcoming event and what it could mean for the future of the History Center, saying, “If they come one time, they’ll want to come again.”
