A ribbon cutting was held on Friday for the new RV service center at Countryside RV Center, located at 2100 Hinshaw Road in Yadkinville. The company is owned by Mark and Angela Casstevens.
“We have been here for 15 years and we have grown to the point that we needed to build a new facility to be able to take care of our campers that we sell to our customers and then, of course, service the campers we sell,” Angela Casstevens said.
The new service center will have two full-time technicians working on campers.
“We also have a small parts store where we’ve got a good selection and good variety of all kinds of things that people might need for their campers,” Casstevens said.
Countryside RV specializes in pre-owned travel trailers, new park models, hybrids, pop-up campers, retro campers, light weight campers, compact travel trailers as well as popular brands such as Cavco, Forest River Quailridge, Kropf, AR-One, Travel Star and Autumn Ridge by Starcraft.
Though just a small company in Yadkin County, Countryside RV has customers from all across the country. They even recently sold a camper to a couple from England. Their customers also say Countryside RV has the best prices around.
The nostalgia of camping is something many people resonate with, Mark Casstevens said at their groundbreaking last year. He remembered camping with his family in a Winnebago and always wanted one when he grew up.
“It’s just quality family time and family fun,” he said of camping.
The new service center will provide a convenient location for RV and camper owners in the Tri-County area to get their campers serviced.
