The Blue Christmas concert with Emily Ann Roberts of NBC’s “The Voice” and The Isaacs will be presented Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at Peace Haven Baptist Church in Yadkinville to honor the men and women of law enforcement. Several North Carolina police officers from multiple counties and their families will be recognized during the concert. Donations will be received at the concert with the proceeds above the expense of the event going to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
The Isaacs are multiple Grammy nominees and seven-time Dove Award winners. The Isaacs’ new album, “Nature’s Symphony in 432,” was produced by Pittsburg Steelers’ football great Terry Bradshaw and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Magazine. The Isaacs tour globally and have performed at Carnegie Hall and regularly at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Most recently, The Isaacs were featured and performed on the Fox News Channel, Rolling Stones Magazine, and the GMA Dove Awards.
Emily Ann Roberts appeared on the NBC television show “The Voice” in 2015 and was the runner up to Jordan Smith. Roberts was a part of Blake Shelton’s Team Blake on the show and caught the attention of America with her incredible talent and charm. Roberts has gone on to work with Shelton and Nashville song writers and expects an album release in early 2017. Roberts recently performed at the Gatlinburg Gathering before a sold out crowd and was invited to sing before more than 110,000 at the University of Tennessee to honor Pat Summitt.
The Isaacs will perform several of their songs from the new Nature’s Symphony 432 album and Roberts will perform songs from her upcoming Country album and songs she performed on The Voice. Both artists also will perform some classic Christmas music during the event.
North Carolina concert promoter Ray Flynn chose to do this concert to show support to the men and women of law enforcement after a year of multiple police officers being killed in the line of duty. The Blue Christmas Concert will be held at the Peace Haven Baptist Church in Yadkinville with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the concert at 6 pm.
