Organizers with the Hands of Hope Medical Clinic in Yadkinville are inviting local pastors and church leaders to an open house event on Feb. 13.
“You are probably already aware of a tremendous ministry work going on in Yadkin County for about five years now — the Hands of Hope Medical Clinic, a free weekly healthcare clinic for those adults without medical insurance coverage, Medicare and or Medicaid,” said Pastor Phil Beavers. “The clinic operates on a volunteer basis providing hope and medical care for those in the area who have lost their jobs and/or health benefits.”
“In order to better get the word out and assist you in understanding the Hands of Hope ministry, I am asking you as a pastor/church leader to join us for an informal open house/informational gathering to hear and see the work there first-hand,” Beavers continued.
The open house will take place on Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. at the clinic site located at 148 Beroth Drive, Yadkinville, next door to the Yadkin Valley Seafood Restaurant.
Hands of Hope founder, Michael Williams, and directors Lena Gayle Williams and Nikki Money will speak at the event and a light lunch will be served.
Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by calling 336-463-2596 or (cell) 336-466-0893.
