Maranda Elizabeth Hill and Juston Mark Brown were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Aug. 31 at Tonya’s Cabin on Lone Hickory Road in Yadkinville. The officiating minister was the Rev. Grady Trivette.
The bride is the daughter of Beverly Hill and Robert Tilley and Marcia and Urchel Hill. She is the granddaughter of Joe and Wanda Doss of Yadkinville, Gordon and Mildred Sparks of Galax, Va., and Lavoy Hill of Mount Airy. Maranda is a graduate of Forbush High School and Wilkes Community College. She is certified medical assistant and is employed by Riverside Medical Associates in North Wilkesboro.
The groom is the son of Gina (Peter) Hauser of Yadkinville and the late Mark Brown. He is the grandson of Terry Buelin of Yadkinville and the late Lola Buelin, Earline and Bobby Evans and Nolan Brown. His great-grandparents are Ruby Reavis and the late Willard Reavis and Ruth and Dale Brown all of Hamptonville. Juston is a graduate of Forbush High School and Wilkes Community College. He is a plumbing pre-fab shop foreman and is employed by Southern Piping Company in Winston-Salem.
The bride’s dress was satin, diamond-whte ballgown featuring a strapless, rhinestone beaded bodice with a lace-up back, a traditional-length train and a French bustle. She carried a white satin, rhinestone hand-wrapped summer bouquet containing white roses encircling various grape-colored flowers.
The bride was escorted by Robert Tilley. The matron of honor was Shelly Brown. The bridesmaids were Nicole Doss and Mandy Wylie. The flower girls were Brooke Brandon, Aydin Brandon and Haidyn Deal.
The best man was the groom’s brother, Vance Brown. The groomsmen were Jeff Hill and Sawyer Dohn. The ring bearer’s were Cody Brandon, Austin Walker and Charlie Brown.
The registry attendant was Felicia Rodriguez. The wedding directors were Paul and Wendy Drane.
The couple left in the groom’s grandfather’s (Terry Buelin) bright yellow dump truck that was decorated by family and friends.
After a honeymoon trip to Carolina Beach, the couple will reside in Harmony.
