HAMPTONVILLE — On April 9, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Surry County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence in Hamptonville for stolen property.


During the search of the residence, detectives found Hannah Elizabeth Trivette, 23, and Joshua Hilmi Akbas, 28, both from Hamptonville, to be residing inside the home. Detectives also found a large amount of jewelry and other stolen items from Surry County and Yadkin County. All jewelry was seized and processed for further investigation.


Several pieces of jewelry were identified by victims from reported breaking and enterings that occurred in Yadkin County at Shacktown Road, Yadkinville, reported on April 5; Hunter Dairy Road, Hamptonville, reported on March 16; and Union Grove Church Road, Yadkinville, reported on March 6.


After further investigation by the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office, Akbas was charged with three counts of felony breaking and entering, three counts of felony larceny after breaking and entering and one count of felony possession of stolen property. Akbas is being held at the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $120,000 secured bond.


Trivette was charged with three counts of felony breaking and entering, three counts of felony larceny after breaking and entering and one count of felony possession of stolen property. Trivette is being held at the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.


Additional charges may be filed in Yadkin County as the investigation continues.
