EAST BEND — Last Tuesday, deputies with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Albert Paolillo, 48, of East Bend. Paolillo was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at his home located in the Forbush community of Yadkin County.
Officers seized 26 marijuana plants, along with dried marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. The marijuana has a street value of $40,000.
Paolillo was charged with one count each of manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, resist obstruct and delay of an officer and felony maintaining a drug dwelling.
Paolillo is being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $45,000 secure bond. Detectives stated that the investigation is ongoing. Additional charges against Paolillo may include identity theft and obtaining property by false pretense. Paolillo has been residing in the area using the alias William Brady.
