Multiple drug, child abuse charges for two Yadkinville residents

Following a five-month-long investigation by the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office, two Yadkinville residents were arrested on April 20 and now face multiple drug charges.

Jason Lamarr Fomond, 33, was charged with six counts of felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule II crack cocaine, five counts of sell and deliver schedule II crack cocaine, six counts of felony maintain a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances, three counts of felony conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule II crack cocaine, five counts of misdemeanor child abuse, three counts of driving while license revoked, one count of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alison Michele Jackson, 23, was charged with one count each of felony sell and deliver schedule VI marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule VI marijuana, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule II crack cocaine, possession of controlled substance in a confinement facility, two counts of felony maintain a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances, three counts of felony conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule II crack cocaine, one count of misdemeanor possession of schedule VI marijuana, one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and five counts of misdemeanor child abuse.

Fomond was given a $75,000 secure bond. Jackson was given a $55,000 secure bond. Fomond and Jackson both have a first appearance court date on April 26. Fomond and Jackson are both being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center.

Fomond was also on Post Release Supervision with the NC Department of Community Corrections and will face additional charges for violating his conditions of release.
