JONESVILLE — A Jonesville teen has been charged following a case of items being taken from a residence on Bethel Road this week.
On Wednesday, Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christian Rae Garris, 17, of Jonesville, and charged him with five counts of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, five counts of misdemeanor larceny, one count of felony breaking and entering, and one count of misdemeanor resisting a public officer.
Earlier the same day, Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office responded to Bethel Road in Jonesville to investigate a reported breaking and entering of a vehicle. A neighboring residence allegedly also had vehicles and their garage entered. Several of the reported stolen items were later found at Garris’ residence in addition to items reported stolen from Elkin.
Garris was given a $7,500 secured bond with a court date of July 19.
