Marijuana plants with a street value totaling $57,000 have been found growing across Yadkin County, according to law enforcement officials.
On Aug. 17, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office along with the State Bureau of Investigation, the Yadkinville Police Department and the NC State Highway Patrol Air Wing conducted a marijuana plant eradication in Yadkin County.
The eradication resulted in the seizure of a quantity of marijuana plants with a street value of $57,000. The plants were located growing throughout Yadkin County.
There have been no arrests at this time, but investigation is continuing.
