Two Winston-Salem men face charges in a Yadkin County theft case.
On Nov. 10, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Forbush and Baltimore Road area regarding a neighbor witnessing a breaking and entering in progress. The neighbor saw the alleged offenders taking property from a shed on Cornelius Road and gave a description of the vehicle involved to officers. The sheriff’s office stopped the suspects at Speer Bridge Road and arrested them.
Michael Kenneth Lawson, 35, and Eric Christopher Regan, 31, both of Winston-Salem, were each charged with one count of felony possession of burglary tools, one count of felony breaking and entering, one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering, one count of felony possession of stolen property and one count of injury to personal property. Regan was also charged with driving while license revoked not impaired and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were given a $2,500 secured bond with a court date of Nov. 14.
