The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office on July 25 arrested two suspects at a residence on Carolina Avenue in Yadkinville and charged them with selling “crack” cocaine.


Rocky Dale Davis, 56, of Yadkinville was arrested and charged with sell and deliver of a schedule II controlled substance and possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, conspiracy to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, and trafficking in opium/heroin.


Davis is in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $25,000 secure bond.


Willie Lee Johnson, 26, of Winston-Salem was arrested and charged with conspiracy to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, maintain a drug dwelling (vehicle), two counts of assault on a government official, resist obstruct and delay of an officer.


Johnson is in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $75,000 secure bond.


The investigation is ongoing and officers say more charges are pending.
