YADKINVILLE — A Yadkinville teen is facing four felony charges after breaking into several pieces of property Monday.
Scottie Dale Speer, 16, was charged by Yadkin County Sheriff’s deputies after a homeowner on Wyo Road came back to find Speer in their home.
According to law enforcement officials, Speer is reported to also have broken into a building and truck on the property.
Deputies were dispatched to the home after the “breaking and entering in progress” call came in.
Speer is a resident of Wishon Road. The two streets are located near the Courtney Elementary School building, one on either side.
Speer was charged with two felony counts of breaking and/or entering, a felony county of breaking or entering into a motor vehicle and a count of larceny after breaking or entering.
He was given secure $5,000 bond and a trial date of Dec. 10.
