YADKINVILLE - With their summer schedule in the home stretch, the Yadkin Stingrays fell to the Kernersville Riptyde Tuesday afternoon 599-257.

Stingray swimmers swam to first-place finishes in 15 events, led by Sierra Winters and Jamie Beamguard, who captured four individual gold medals apiece.

Winters finished first in the 100 yard 100 yard individual medley, 50 yard breaststroke, 50 yard backstroke and 50 yard butterfly, while Beamguard touched the wall first in the 100 yard individual medley, 50 yard freestyle, 50 yard breaststroke and 50 yard butterfly.

Bryan Winters added three gold medals in the 100 yard individual medley, 50 yard backstroke and 50 yard butterfly.

Joel Keating (50 yard breaststroke), Tallon Flynn (50 yard backstroke), Lilly Flower (50 yard butterfly) and Suzie Beamguard (50 yard freestyle) rounded out Yadkin’s first-place finishers.

The Stingrays return to the pool Tuesday against Chadwyck at the Yadkin Park.
