EAST BEND — The Lady Falcons put up a fight on Friday night against the South Stokes Lady Sauras, but lost the battle, 39-33.

The team’s high scorer for the night was Kala Doub with seven points and 10 rebounds. Calyn Davis, Maddi Morsch and Jessica Funk each scored six points. Brittany Moose and Paris Trivette added four points each to the total.

Despite their best efforts, the Falcons couldn’t keep up with the scoring capabilities of the Sauras.

“Defensively, we are playing very well right now,” said Coach Bradley Shore. “Unfortunately, we have lost some confidence offensively. When we get that confidence back and add the scoring to the good defense, I expect us to get on a roll.”

The next home game for the Lady Falcons will be against Carver High School on Friday.
