Linda Ann Pierce of Trinity and Trenton Dale McGhee of Mooresville were united in marriage in a 2 p.m. ceremony on May 10, 2014, at Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting in Trinity, with the Rev. Wayne L. Byrd, uncle of the bride, officiating.


Linda is the daughter of Boyd and Nancy Pierce of Trinity. She is the granddaughter of Norma Pierce and the late J.B. Pierce Sr. and the late Lester and Sally Byrd. The bride is a graduate of Trinity High School and the University of North Carolina Greensboro with a B.S. and master’s degree in business administration. She is employed as a consumer product coordinator with Future Foam of Archdale.


Trenton is the son of Larry and Ginger McGhee of Yadkinville. He is the grandson of the late Marion and Helen Shaw and Marvin and Lelia McGhee. The groom is a graduate of Forbush High School and received a B.S. degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. He is a mutual fund trader with LPL Financial in Charlotte.


The bride was given in marriage by her father, Boyd Pierce.


Matron of Honor was Ashely McGhee, sister-in-law of the groom. Bridesmaids were Ashton McGhee and Taylor McGhee, nieces of the groom, and Nancy Fang, Blanca Montilla and Ana Mota.


Best Man was Larry McGhee, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Thomas McGhee, brother of the groom; Philip Shaw, uncle of the groom; and Hayes Lutz, Daniel Maddox and Scott Mill.


Guest registrar was Kelly Shaw, cousin of the groom. Wedding director was Jennifer Lambert, cousin of the groom. Greeters were Alan Byrd, cousin of the bride, and Andrew Smith, cousin of the groom.


Musicians were Darian Byrd, Christy Albertson and Amy Byrd, cousins of the bride.


The reception was held at Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting fellowship hall, hosted by the bride’s parents and catered by Something Different, Asheboro.


A rehearsal dinner was held at the Chop House of High Point, hosted by the groom’s parents.


The couple spent their honeymoon in Greece and will reside in Mooresville.
