Brenner Walk and Bike Race Brenner Walk and Bike Race-Fighting Childhood Obesity Saturday, September 8, 2012 Old Salem Museum and Gardens Walk begins at 9am Bike race begins at 11am Lace up your walking shoes, get your family and friends together and join us for a walking adventure through Old Salem on September 8, as Brenner Children’s Hospital hosts a fundraising walk and professional bike race. The Brenner Walk and Bike Race is a community event in Winston-Salem that engages families to get out and move, learn about healthy eating and help fight childhood obesity. The day will include an interactive walk for all ages, a professional bike race and hands-on activities in Salem Square. Proceeds directly benefits the Brenner FIT (Families in Training) Program, which is a family-centered, evidence-based approach to weight management.
