Mr. Keith Alan Shaw, 58, of Radiator Road, Yadkinville passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at his home.

He was born Aug. 12, 1954, in Wabash County Indiana to the late Harold Eugene and Betty Lou Meeks Shaw.

Mr. Shaw was a graduate of William Henry Harrison High School class of 1973 in Indiana.

He served with the US Army from 1977 to 1983. He received his Associate in Applied Science of Computer Engineering Technology Degree from Surry Community College in North Carolina. He worked for several years as a computer engineer with Advanced Electronics. He was an active member of Christian Outreach Fellowship in Yadkinville and was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Teresa “Terry” Shaw, of the home; his sister, Donna Sue “Susie” Shaw; father and step-mother-in-law, George and Carol Goodboe; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Joni Goodboe; nieces, Whitney Lynn Goodboe, Taylor Ray Goodboe; goddaughter, Brittney Nicole Powers; two canine companions, Nikki and Buddy; and five feline companions, Momma Lily, Picasso, Rowdy, Mouse, and Lily Ann.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Shaw will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Christian Outreach Fellowship by Rev. Darrell Wykes. In lieu of flowers, memorials or canned food items may be made to Christian Outreach Fellowship, 2349 Highway 601 South, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
