It was a rainy day and it was Friday the 13th. I sat on my deck just enjoying the silence and scenery before it got totally dark. At the edge of a field with one side surrounded by woods, I noticed a doe with two fawns playfully walking by. Out of nowhere came a coyote and grabbed one of the fawns. I can still hear it crying and I won’t forget it tomorrow either. This is where our wildlife is going. Do you see the baby rabbits like you used to? Not to mention groundhogs. The only thing that stands a chance of survival are birds. This could have very easily been a child. Are we going to have to take our children to the zoo to see the small creatures? I realize coyotes have to eat too, but these animals need to be controlled in a very big way. How about the people that released these animals give us a solution. We need it desperately and soon.
