RALEIGH - The Wolfpack Club, NC State’s fundraising organization for athletic scholarships and facility enhancements, has announced the Yadkin County stop of the 2012 Coaches Caravan.

The event will be held at the Myers Auction House on September 6 with NC State Head Men’s Basketball Coach Mark Gottfried, Head Women’s Basketball Coach Kellie Harper and Head Rifle Coach Keith Miller addressing and interacting with fans in attendance.

The Wolfpack Club’s Coaches Caravan will visit 19 cities throughout North Carolina and the southeastern United States offering Wolfpack members and the general public the opportunity to hear from and interact with NC State coaches.

“We are excited to stop in Yadkin County this year,” said Bobby Purcell, Executive Director of the Wolfpack Club. “It is a great opportunity for fans in the area to come together and experience the excitement surrounding NC State’s athletic programs.”

The event will be held at the Myers Auction House at 1105 Flint Hill Road on Thursday, Sept. 6. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and under. All of the Coaches Caravan stops are open to Wolfpack Club members and the general public.

As a part of the Wolfpack Club’s “Strength in Numbers” campaign, members are encouraged to bring non-Wolfpack Club members as guests. Members whose guests join the Wolfpack Club during the Caravan and the new member themselves will each be eligible for prizes including the chance to be on the field at Carter-Finley during halftime of the Wolfpack Club Day Football Game. The member and guest will also be entered to win a grand prize trip for four to travel with the NC State football team to an away game in the 2012 season.
