Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office received a report on July 18 of a black male subject passing counterfeit money at the Dollar General Store located on Highway 21 in Hamptonville.
The subject was seen on video surveillance passing the counterfeit money but has not been identified. If anyone recognizes the subject in the photo, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office would like to be contacted at (336)849-7800.
Also the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office would like to warn businesses to be on the lookout for counterfeit money and to contact the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office if any counterfeit money is passed.
