Wayne and Debbie Smitherman of East Bend, are excited to announce the engagement of their son, Darrin Smitherman to Elizabeth Wilson, daughter of Carl and Sandra Wilson, of Jacksonville.
The groom-to-be graduated from Forbush High School and North Carolina State University. He is a business partner with his father, Wayne, and brother, Brandon, at their family owned and operated dairy farm in East Bend.
The bride-to-be graduated from White Oak High School in Jacksonville. She is an administration assistant employed by Catawba County Environmental Health in Newton.
A March wedding is planned and the couple will reside in East Bend.
