YADKINVILLE - The 12U Yadkin County All-Stars have been on a tear for the past month.

The run started when the team won its area tournament in Jonesville, posting a perfect record. Yadkin followed up with an undefeated run through the Western North Carolina State Tournament in Charlotte unbeaten to its second-straight state title.

Yadkin County then traveled to the Southeast Regional Tournament, held in Glen Allen, Va. The team finished fourth out of 11 teams from seven states. This group finished with an overall record of 10-2.

Members of the team thanked everyone who supported them financially. They also thanked all the Yadkin County fans who followed them faithfully this season; the team had one of the biggest fan bases in all the tournaments.
