Raffaldini Vineyards announced the dog and cat that will each be featured on their own label of Pino Vino V, a red wine.
The dog chosen for the label, Trotter, is a German Shepherd mix from Troutman. The cat chosen for the label, Alice, is a tuxedo domestic shorthair from Wilkesboro. As with Pino Vino I, II and III and IV, a portion of the proceeds of the sale of Pino Vino V will be donated to local animal shelters.
“The outpouring of compassion and commitment displayed by our contest participants demonstrates the love that we all share for our rescue animals and reaffirms our belief in and ongoing support for this mission,” said Jay Raffaldini, Raffaldini Vineyards owner.
Raffaldini Vineyards invites the public to meet Trotter, who will be present for the unveiling of the new Pino Vino V wine, at Villa Raffaldini on June 8 at 2 p.m. Alice and Trotter will each grace their own unique label for Pino Vino V, and both cat and dog versions of the wine will be available for tasting and purchase during and after the unveiling.
