Weatherman-Welborn Wedding

Tim and Susan Weatherman of Jonesville announce the marriage of their daughter Anna Landry Weatherman to Matthew Garrett Welborn.

Weatherman is a graduate of Starmount High School and Surry Community College. She received an associate’s degree in Arts and Early Childhood and is currently attending Lees McRea Teaching Program. Weatherman is employed at Little Richards in Clemmons while completing school.

Matthew Garrett Welborn, son of Mark and Teresa Welborn of Boonville, is a Starmout High School graduate and graduated from the NASCAR Technical Institute. Welborn is employed by Morgan Place Partnership of Clemmons.

The couple was married at 5 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2012, at Deep Creek Friends Meeting in Yadkinville, officiated by Reverend Georgianne Hartline. The bride was given away by her parents.

The wedding was followed by a reception at The Third Branch Café / Yadkin Arts Council in the Welborn Gallery. The couple traveled to Gatlinburg, T.N. following the ceremony and will be traveling to Hawaii on their honeymoon later in the year. The couple will reside in Clemmons, N.C.

Grooms grandparents: Marion and Jewell Welborn of Boonville, and Jack Shore of Boonville

Maid of Honor: Meghan Fiske of Deptford, New Jersey, cousin of the bride

Bridesmaids: Samantha Welborn of Boonville, sister of groom; Chandler Welborn of Boonville, cousin of groom; Ellie Royall of Charlotte, friend of bride; Amber Wilmoth of Elkin, cousin of bride; and Maggie Royall of Jonesville, friend of bride.

Honorary Bridesmaids: Ayla Holcomb of Charlotte, and Britney Meurer of Hamptonville, friends of the bride.

Flower Girl: Kyla Royall of Jonesville, friend of bride

Ring Bearer: Miles Cline of State Road, friend of bride

Best Man: Mark Welborn of Boonville, father of groom

Groomsmen: Jordan Weatherman of Jonesville, brother of bride; Mitch Welborn of Boonville, brother of groom; Kyle Weatherman of Jacksonville Florida, brother of bride; Luke Shore of Charlotte, cousin of groom; and Mason Welborn of Boonville, brother of groom.

Ushers: Vincent Reel of Wichita, Kansas, brother of bride and McKinnon Welborn of Boonville, cousin of groom.

Wedding was directed by Jennifer R. Gambill of Elkin and Photography was taken by Sonya Allen of One Shot Photography.
