•11 a.m.-Homecoming will be observed at Mitchell’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Rev. Charles Turner will be speaking. A covered-dish luncheon will be served in the fellowship hall immediately following the worship service.

•11 a.m.- HOMECOMING, Rev. Mark Reavill invites to ASBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1900 Asbury Church Rd. Hamptonville, Service with covered dish meal to follow

October 14, 21, 28 •6:30 p.m. Gospel Way Baptist Church in Yadkinville, will hold Revival Services Sunday Nights. 7th will be Bro. Marvin Blackburn & Flint Hill Choir, 14th will be Bro Dan Buie & Bear Creek Choir, 21st Bro Larry Stone & Anchored in Jesus Choir, 28th Bro. October 15 •7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Boonville United Methodist Church will sponsor an inside/outside Yard Sale and Bake Sale. Breakfast will be served and hotdogs will be available for lunch. For more information call the church office. 367-7122. October 15-19

•10 a.m.-24th Annual Old Time Camp Meeting at Northwood Baptist Church, 1309 Northwood Church Road, Yadkinville, (336)677-3781, northwoodbaptist.us, Big Cooperative Camp meeting choir along with another visiting choir singing each evening Simpson Family, Bro. Arthur & Bro. Smith Preacher’s Corner will be here along with harvest Bible Distributers. Preachers called from the floor, lunch will be served daily, evening services 7 p.m.

October 20

•7-until- Yard sale at Brooks Cross Road in Hamptonville for Mountain Grove UMC.

October 21-24

•6 p.m.-Revival at Friendship Baptist Church, Siloam Road, East Bend, NC 27018, the Special Speaker will be Joe Souther, there will be Special music each night, Sunday 6:00 pm and Mon-Wed 7:00 pm

Saturday, October 27 •4 p.m.- Fall Festival for Jesus. There will be games, food will be provided and trunk or treat will be available for children. Believers Baptist Church off Highway 601 in Yadkinville, across from the Yadkinville Volunteer Fire Department. Sunday, October 28

•10:30 a.m.-Harmony Grove Friends Meeting in Yadkinville will celebrate Homecoming. Morning worship will begin at 10:30 AM with a special program of music, and the guest speaker will be Chris Hauser. The morning service will be followed by a carry-in meal. The celebration continues at 6:30 on Sunday Evening with the Mickles Family singing, followed by guest speaker Harold Salmons. Everyone is invited.

•5 p.m.-8 p.m.-Fall Festival and Port-a-Pit Chicken Dinner at Union Grove Church (sponsored by Children’s Ministry). The Festival is free and fun for all ages, they will have a hayride, trunk or treat, candy, prizes, inflatable’s, games and more. The Chicken dinner is a fund raiser for Lesley Benton and family’s expenses due to Lesley’s illness, $7 per plate, take out or eat in (chicken, baked beans, slaw, roll, dessert). Saturday, November 3

•10a.m.-2p.m.-Baltimore United Methodist Church will hold a Free Health Fair. The event will offer free screenings and free informational tips for young and old. Additional information is available on the church website (www.baltimoreumc.net) or you can call the church office at 336-961-6055.
