East Bend restaurant robbed at gunpoint

<p>An unknown suspect held Reece&#8217;s Restaurant in East Bend at gunpoint on Jan. 12 and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a white male, medium build, wearing camouflage coveralls, a blue hooded jacket, dark gloves and a mask.</p>

East Bend Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Yadkin County restaurant that occurred on Saturday night. Police reported no injuries but are seeking assistance in identifying the perpetrator.

On Saturday, Jan. 12th at a 10 p.m. an unknown white male entered Reece’s Restaurant located on Pauline Street in East Bend. The suspect is described as a white male, medium build, wearing camouflage coveralls, a blue hooded jacket, dark gloves and a mask. The suspect possessed an unknown type of firearm.

East Bend Police report that an undisclosed amount of money was stolen and the suspect left on foot. Officials with the department have leads they are continuing to follow and are seeking information from the public to help identify this suspect.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery or the identity of the perpetrator is urged to contact Yadkin County Crimestoppers at 336-679-2366.
