•7a.m.-until- Yard sale at Brooks Cross Road in Hamptonville for Mountain Grove UMC.

•5:30 p.m.- East Bend United Methodist Church beside of Huff Funeral Home on Main Street, East Bend, will host their annual chicken/oyster stew and auction sale. Bring your own bowl and spoon. Everyone is invited.

October 21-24

•6 p.m.-Revival at Friendship Baptist Church, Siloam Road, East Bend, NC 27018, the Special Speaker will be Joe Souther, there will be Special music each night, Sunday 6:00 pm and Mon-Wed 7:00 pm

October 21, 28 •6:30 p.m. Gospel Way Baptist Church in Yadkinville, will hold Revival Services Sunday Nights. 7th will be Bro. Marvin Blackburn & Flint Hill Choir, 14th will be Bro Dan Buie & Bear Creek Choir, 21st Bro Larry Stone & Anchored in Jesus Choir, 28th Bro. •11 a.m.-1:15p.m.-Chicken Pie Luncheon will be held at Yadkinville United Methodist Church Family Live Center. This is sponsored by the United Methodsit Women. May dine in or carry-out. Meal includes Chicken Pie, green beans, slaw, bread, dessert and beverage. Proceeds go toward National and International mission projects. Tickets are $8.00 and may be purchased from Mildred Carter 679-8034, Frances Mabe 679-8331, Linda Baity 679-8648 or the church office 679-2243.

Saturday, October 27 •4 p.m.- Fall Festival for Jesus. There will be games, food will be provided and trunk or treat will be available for children. Believers Baptist Church off Highway 601 in Yadkinville, across from the Yadkinville Volunteer Fire Department. Sunday, October 28

•10:30 a.m.-Harmony Grove Friends Meeting in Yadkinville will celebrate Homecoming. Morning worship will begin at 10:30 AM with a special program of music, and the guest speaker will be Chris Hauser. The morning service will be followed by a carry-in meal. The celebration continues at 6:30 on Sunday Evening with the Mickles Family singing, followed by guest speaker Harold Salmons. Everyone is invited.

•5 p.m.-8 p.m.-Fall Festival and Port-a-Pit Chicken Dinner at Union Grove Church (sponsored by Children’s Ministry). The Festival is free and fun for all ages, they will have a hayride, trunk or treat, candy, prizes, inflatable’s, games and more. The Chicken dinner is a fund raiser for Lesley Benton and family’s expenses due to Lesley’s illness, $7 per plate, take out or eat in (chicken, baked beans, slaw, roll, dessert). •10a.m.-2p.m.-Baltimore United Methodist Church will hold a Free Health Fair. The event will offer free screenings and free informational tips for young and old. Additional information is available on the church website (www.baltimoreumc.net) or you can call the church office at 336-961-6055.

Sunday, November 4-7

•11 a.m.-Revival at Flat Rock Baptist Church with Michael Cogdill Sunday 11 a.m.- and Monday- Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.

•10:30 a.m.-South Oak Ridge Baptist Church of Yadkinville announces homecoming and revival services Sunday, November 4 through Wednesday, November 7 with evangelist Frank Shelton of Waldorf, MD. Rev. Shelton has traveled extensively preaching the gospel, has been interviewed on Fox News, and has most recently served as International Evangelism Director for the 2012 London Olympics. The homecoming service is at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, November 4 with revival services each evening Sunday through Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. There will be special music at each service and a nursery provided. The public is cordially invited. For more information call 463-2629.
