After weeks of preparation and excitement, Yadkin Nursing Care Center opened its very own general store called the Rusty Years General Store with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, July 2.
The store offers residents , staff, family and friends an opportunity to have a fun shopping experience without leaving the facility.
The Rusty Years General Store has a wide variety of items available for purchase. Much of what you can find in the store fits in with its rustic, old-time theme. Favorite items include glass bottle drinks and old fashioned candies such as Mary Janes and peppermint puffs.
Also available at the Rusty Years General Store is an assortment of gift items, greeting cards, toiletries, snacks and stationary supplies.
The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
