Winston-Salem man charged with rape of child

The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office detectives investigated Charles Cecil Lashley, 51, of Peace Haven Road, Winston-Salem.

A Winston-Salem man has been charged with crime against nature, first degree sex offense on a child, rape of a child, two counts of indecent liberties with a minor and sexual battery.

Lashley was arrested on July 22. He was placed in the Forsyth County Jail and is currently under a $250,000 secured bond.

These offenses were alleged to have occurred in 2009. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information is asked to contact detectives at 336-849-7800.
