Quality Oil Company of Winston-Salem has partnered with the N.C. Triad Affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure by repainting one of its propane delivery trucks.

“Even though October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our local focus is 365 days, 24/7” said Diana Parrish, Executive Director of Komen N.C. Triad Affiliate “We want all who live in our 11 county service area to know that we are working every day to empower, educate and eventually eradicate breast cancer.”

Members of Quality Oil hope this pink truck will garner attention and spread awareness to help in the fight against the disease every day.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in women.

“Many Quality Oil employees have been affected by breast cancer, just like thousands of families nationwide,” said Graham Bennett, president of Quality Oil Company. “We are honored to be a part of this wonderful campaign that helps save lives by increasing awareness about the disease.”

The truck will service the immediate Winston-Salem area, and all of its surrounding counties including Forsyth, Davie, Yadkin, Davidson, and Surry Counties. Quality Oil Company has been family owned and operated since 1929, offering fuel oil, propane, heating, and air conditioning services.

To benefit the cause, the customized pink truck was generously painted at no charge by Maaco Auto Body Shop, located on Silas Creek Parkway. The decaling was done by Speedpro Imaging on North Patterson Avenue in Winston-Salem.
