Mr. Taylor was born on February 11, 1925 in Yadkin County to the late Garlie Taylor and Amanda Ross Taylor.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by three brothers Melvin Taylor, Clyde Taylor and Austin Taylor and three sisters Treva Holland, Nell Smitherman and Lillian Matthews.
