Local agency receives $20,000 grant

YADKINVILLE — A luncheon was held on Sept. 9 at Yadkinville First Baptist Church to present a $20,000 check to Yadkin Christian Ministries (YCM). Ruth Henderson, a local BeautiControl representative and YCM volunteer, applied for the grant from BeautiControl’s Women Helping Others (W.H.O.) Foundation.BeautiControl is a national company that was founded in l98l by Dick and Jinger Heath of Dallas, Texas and specializes in skin care, bath and body products for the entire family.
