YADKINVILLE — In advance of last Friday night’s Unifi Bowl battle between Forbush and Starmount, another group of competitors battled it out to see which team would come out on top.Wendy Hayden, director of the Yadkin County YVEDDI Senior Center of Excellence in Yadkinville, decided it would be fun to play their own version of football at the senior center.“It’s a really big part of the community,” Hayden said of the football rivalry between Forbush and Starmount. Her son has been playing football since third grade and now plays for Forbush.


Heartstrings offering pregnancy, infant loss support group
