Jack Williams Memorial Golf Tournament

YADKINVILLE — The annual Jack Williams Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on June 4 at the Yadkin Country Club. The tournament is Captain’s Choice, with four-man teams. Registration is $200 per team. Shotgun start is set for 2 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the winner, four closest to the pin, and the longest drive. Lunch is included from 1 to 2 p.m. All proceeds support the local high school golf programs. To sign up, contact Matt Pruitt at 336-469-9512.

Starmount High School softball camp

BOONVILLE — Rising kindergarten through ninth-graders are invited to attend Starmount High School’s softball camp June 6-8. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost of the camp is $50. Registration will be available on the first day of camp. To receive a T-shirt, registration must be competed by May 25. Forms can be obtained by contacting Starmount softball coach, Sarah Boles at sarah.boles@yadkin.k12.nc.us, picking one up in the main office at Starmount High School, or going to the homepage on the Starmount High School website.

Future Falcon softball camp

EAST BEND — Rising third- through eighth-graders are invited to attend the Future Falcon softball camp hosted by Forbush high School. The camp will run June 7 through June 9 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The cost of the camp is $50. Camp instructors will be the high school coaching staff and players. Campers will be taught fundamentals and have fun competing for prizes. UK soccer camp coming to Elkin

ELKIN — UK Soccer Camps will be returning to Elkin for the sixth annual British soccer camp on June 12 through June 16. The camp will take place at Chatham Park, 600 E. Main St., in Elkin. Ages 5 to 13 are welcome to attend. The camp will be an afternoon camp from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The camp is $80 per week which includes a T-shirt. Team and multiple family member discounts are available. All campers are responsible for their own drinks and any snacks. Campers also must bring a soccer ball, and dress in correct soccer attire. East Wilkes to host football camp

RONDA — The annual East Wilkes Youth Football Camp will be held on the campus of East Wilkes High School June 15-17 from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp is designed to teach the fundamentals, basics, and safety of football to young men ages kindergarten through ninth grade. Advanced registration is now open and can be competed by visiting the East Wilkes High School website and downloading a registration form to mail-in. The camp also will register participants on June 15, beginning at 8 a.m.
