For the past two years, seniors at Forbush High School have taken a trip to the BB&T Ballpark to watch the Winston-Salem Dash baseball team. This trip is a great opportunity for the senior class to enjoy some time with each other before graduation. This year, they went to watch the Dash play the Buies Creek Astros.

This year the seniors left after first period and arrived when they were still preparing the field for the game. Because of all the rain the previous day, a helicopter hovered over the field to help dry it. The weather was perfect for baseball. They sat for two and a half hours before the game began and only got to watch one inning before having to leave at 2:15 p.m., but they got unlimited food and good seats. Dash beat the Astros 5-3.

The seniors enjoyed getting to spend time with their fellow classmates that they have spent the past four years with. This was the last point the senior class will all be together before graduation. This trip provided the senior important quality time to spend with their friends.
