Second class of inductees named for SHS Hall of Fame

BOONVILLE — Created in the 50th year as a way to honor and recognize individuals who have contributed so much to make Starmount the standard of excellence, the Hall of Fame Committee announced the 2017-2018 Starmount High School Hall of Fame Inductees.

The second class of inductees to the Starmount High School Hall of Fame include;

Danny Macemore – former teacher, coach, and athletic director

The late David Norman – former teacher, coach, and TV announcer

Deana King – former student and athlete, sports statistician

Julianna Prim – former student and athlete, 4-time state champion

Robin Vann – former teacher, coach, and guidance counselor

The Hall of Fame was created recognize administrators, teachers, coaches, alumni, and community members who have been an integral part of Starmount’s many successes and accomplishments. Individuals are nominated and inductees to the Hall are selected by the Hall of Fame selection committee.

This year’s induction ceremony will take place Dec. 15, and more information will be forthcoming and will be available on the school website.
