Lady Rams volleyball schedule released

The Starmount Lady Rams start their volleyball season on Aug. 17 against Forbush.

BOONVILLE — The 2017 schedule for the Starmount Rams volleyball team has been released. The Lady Rams have several notable games this season.

The Lady Rams start things off with a home game against their cross-county rival, Forbush, on Aug. 17. From there, the Rams play a weekend tournament on Aug. 19, then go on the road for three away games. On Aug. 31, Elkin comes to Boonville for a Mountain Valley Athletic Conference battle.

JV games are set to start at 4:30 p.m., with varsity games to follow. Schedule is subject to change, and more games could be added before the season starts.

Aug. 19: North Wilkes and Davie at Starmount (Tri-match tournament)

Aug. 22: Starmount at Mount Airy

Aug. 24: Starmount at North Surry

Aug. 29: Starmount at West Forsyth

Aug. 31: Elkin at Starmount

Sept. 5: Starmount at Alleghany

Sept. 7: East Wilkes at Starmount

Sept 12: Starmount at West Wilkes

Sept. 14: North Wilkes at Starmount

Sept. 19: Starmount at Wilkes Central

Sept. 20: Mount Airy at Starmount

Sept. 21: Ashe County at Starmount

Sept. 26: Starmount at Elkin

Sept. 28: Alleghany at Starmount

Oct. 3: Starmount at East Wilkes
