Two Forbush High School graduates, Matt Kiser and John Lineberry, class of 2009,  will be marching in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena,
California on New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 2011.

They are roommates at Western Carolina University and are in the Catamount Marching Band. Matt and John play the saxophone. They began playing in the
sixth grade, Matt at Courtney Elementary and John at Fall Creek Elementary, and continued playing while attending Forbush High School where they
were members of the marching band, jazz band and concert band.
Matt and John would like for you to watch them in the Rose Bowl Parade as they represent Forbush, WCU and Yadkin County. They would
also like to thank those who made donations to help them make this trip.
Congratulations to Matt and John, two of Forbush's finest, and many thanks to their educators for helping them get to where they are today.
Matt is the son of David and Linda Kiser and John is the son of Brian and Cindy Lineberry.
