She was born Aug. 3, 1916, in Yadkin County to the late Reid and Bessie Hoots Williams.
Mrs. Caudle was a housewife until the death of her husband, when she volunteered at Hoots Memorial Hospital. She also volunteered for Hospice. She found these jobs inspirational and rewarding to both herself and to those she served. She was also recognized by “Roy’s Folks” of WGHP-TV for 25 years of volunteer efforts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Everet Caudle; sister Bertha W. Clodfelter; brothers, Laster Williams, Clifford Williams, Robert Williams, Sr.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews; Francis Williams Karen, Judy Barker Tucker, Tom Williams and wife Deanna, Shelby W. Sewell and husband Danny, Jean Williams Foster, Bonnie W. Morrah and husband Edward, Robert G. Williams, Jr., and Lorene Williams Rogers.
Special thanks go to Buck and Betty Nance, friends and neighbors, who were her guardians for the last several years, and to her Turners Creek Church family.
The family would also like to thank Yadkin Nursing Care staff and the Evercare staff for the love and care shown to Pauline.
The family received friends Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service was held Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Bobby Russell. Burial followed at Turners Creek Baptist Cemetery.
