Mrs. Clarice Mae Adams Stinson of Boonville went home to be with her Lord on Feb. 19, 2011. She was 81.

Mrs. Stinson was born June 18, 1929, in Yadkin County to Arthur and Lona Myers Adams. 

She was a member of North Oak Ridge Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stinson was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sherry Stinson; seven brothers, and one sister. 

She is survived by her husband Leroy Stinson; two daughters, Debbie Messick and husband Dennis and Kathy Stinson; two sons, Mickey Stinson and Jeff Stinson and wife Tammy; six grandchildren, Laken Cranfill and husband Derek, Jamie Messick, Sabrina Stinson, Timmy Messick and wife Samantha, Mitch Stinson and wife Erin, and Matt Stinson and wife Melissa and McKenzie; and two great grandsons, Carson Blake Cranfill and Baby Logan Cranfill.

A funeral service was conducted Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at North Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Link, Rev. Phillip Link, and Rev. Don Hudson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. 

The family wishes to thank the staff of Forsyth Medical Center, Dr. Steven Stinson, and the staff of Woltz Hospice Home for all their love and care for Mrs. Stinson during her illness.
