The Falcons were able to rally in the final two innings to complete the 6-5 win over the Blackhawks.

Grayson Fulp was 1-4 at the plate, but drove home two runs. Teammate Caleb Brawley also had a strong night at the plate, going 2-2, also driving in two RBI.

The Falcons will host the Starmount Rams tomorrow night in a rivalry match for the conference top spot and county bragging rights.

The Forbush Softball squad also had a big game against the Blackhawks last Friday. The Lady Falcons used a five-run fifth inning and coasted to the 8-5 win over West.

Forbush will also host the Starmount Rams on Friday in a battle for control of the top conference spot.

Soccer

Continuing to roll through its season, Forbush blasted the West Wilkes Blackhawks 11-0. The win improved the Lady Falcons to 5-1 on the season, with their only loss coming from West Stokes.

In that loss, the West Stokes Wildcats were able to edge out the win against the Falcons 4-3. Still, the Falcons are undefeated in conference play, heading into rivalry week. They will host the Rams tonight. Game time is at 7 p.m.
