The Studio at Hanover Park Vineyards brings another beautiful and spacious venue for weddings, anniversaries, dinners and celebrations to Yadkin County.

Hanover Park Vineyards’ tasting room remains in the main farmhouse, but Amy and Michael Helton, owners of the vineyard, have painstakingly renovated an additional building on the property that was built in the 1930s.

“The Studio has an open beam ceiling and seating for 250 with a catering kitchen,” Kay, who works in the tasting room, said. “The building is beautiful and would be a perfect venue for a wedding or celebration.”

Residents of the area can have an opportunity to enjoy The Studio on Oct. 22 as the vineyard hosts the musical group The Ardmores.

“The Ardmores play a variety of music including music from bands such as The Allman Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Al Green and some Blues.

“The Heltons are hosting the concert along with a chicken stew,” she said. “The chicken stew will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The tasting room in the farmhouse will remain open until 6 p.m. No outside food or drink will be allowed.”

Hanover Park has 12 wines currently available, including the popular Port Hanover, VinD’Orange, made from a Rose’ with lemons, oranges, vanilla beans and brandy.

Artwork handmade by Amy Helton is displayed in the farmhouse as well as paintings by Michael Helton.

“Some of Michael’s paintings are for sale in the farmhouse,” Kay said.
