On March 8 detectives of the Yadkinville Police Department were contacted by a concerned citizen that there was possible drug activity at the Days Inn Hotel.
Detectives from the Yadkinville Police Department and the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the hotel to investigate. Upon arrival of detectives they immediately noticed an unusual flow of traffic into and from the hotel.
Upon further investigation detectives discovered crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a room within the hotel.
Christopher Isaac Alexander aka Spoony of 6755 Foster Rd., Woodleaf, NC was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell and deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and deliver, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
Also, Dan Lee Chambers of113 Jefferson St., Yadkinville was charged with possession of marijuana.
The Yadkinville Police Department and the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the concerned citizen who alerted detectives to this illegal activity and encourage citizens to contact law enforcement when they see such illegal activity.
