Mr. Bobby Gray Hutchens, 57, of Pilot View Church, Yadkinville road passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at his home.

He was born March 4, 1955, in Forsyth County to Walter and Mary Rebecca Goad Hutchens. Mr. Hutchens loved hunting, fishing, and going to Turkey Shoots.He loved his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed the time he spent with each of them.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary G. Hutchens and by his son, Benjamin Gray Hutchens; and sister, Brenda Hutchens.

Surviving are his children, Michelle Hutchens, Melissa Hutchens Hicks, Sammy (Ashley) Hutchens; 10 grandchildren; his father, Walter Hutchens; sisters, Patricia (Ricky) Hutchens, Melinda (Dean) Hutchens, Gail (Les) Pinnix, Ann Crowe (David) Webb; brother, Wilson Hutchens and several close family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday in the Solid Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

A graveside service will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m. Friday with Rev. Bill Hale, officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, any memorials may be made to them for assistance with their expenses.
