Officers with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office arrested LaTonya Ann Sidden of Elkin.
Sidden, 36, was charged with two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses and one count of trafficking in opium by possession.
Sidden obtained a prescription from D-Rex Pharmacy in Jonesville; however, the prescription did not belong to her, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
Sidden is currently being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in Yadkin County District Court next month.
