On April 11 officers with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tedford “Ted” Joseph Randolph, 24 of Advance.
Randolph is charged with attempted felony larceny after officers responded to call at 3533 Shacktown Road in Yadkinville. Once officers arrived they spoke with neighbors and bystanders who had called the sheriff’s office to report that someone driving a truck pulling a trailer was attempting to load farming equipment that belonged to James Doub.
Officers detained Randolph and an accomplice while they conducted a preliminary investigation. Officers then arrested Randolph and charged him.
Randolph was released on an unsecured bond and is scheduled to appear in Yadkin County District Court in May.
