•6 p.m.-9 p.m.-The Small Business Center of Surry Community College will offer one of its most popular seminars, “eBay: The Basics of Selling”, at the Yadkin Center, located at 4649 US Hwy 601 Yadkinville. Nick Hawks, an Education Specialist trained by eBay, will be the presenter for the workshop. This fast-paced seminar is offered at no cost to attendees.

•9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.-East Bend Senior Center blood drive. Most healthy people age 17 and older, or 16 with parental consent, who weigh at least 110 pounds, are eligible to donate blood and platelets. Donors who are 18 and younger and all high school students must also meet specific height and weight requirements. Sponsored by the East Bend Ruritan Club. There will also be free skin cancer screening.

Swimming Lessons will be taught at the Yadkin County Pool: Children 4-12 years old: June 18-28 Monday - Thursday, 10:00am - 10:45am, July 9-19, Monday Thursday, 10:00am - 10:45am, July 23 - Aug 2 Monday - Thursday, 5:15pm - 6:00pm. Classes are taught by certified lifeguards. Payment in full is needed to reserve a spot in the class. Sessions are completely separate, so children may choose to register for only one or multiple sessions. Adults: July 16-20 Monday - Friday, 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Each session is $25 per person for Yadkin County Residents and $40 per person for non-Yadkin County Residents (Children and Adults). Come down to the Yadkin County Pool TODAY to sign up! •4 p.m.-6:30 p.m.- p.m.-Yadkin Farmers Market,open every Tuesday Evenings and Saturday morning from 8-12 in Yadkinville! Off US 601 North Take a right on Tennessee Rd. beside the Yadkinville Community Park. The Yadkin Farmers Market will be on the left behind the park. Selling fresh in season produce, plants, honey, baked goods, homemade crafts, eggs, goat dairy products, molasses, herbs, flowers, etc.

• 10:30 a.m.—Preschool storytime for ages 2-5 will be held at the Boonville Community Public Library every Thursday. This will consist of stories, songs, and crafts. The Boonville Community Public Library is a branch of thirteen libraries of the Northwestern Regional Library System.

•6 p.m.-Bingo every Tuesday at the Yadkin Moose Lodge. ATTENTION: Effectively immediately! Monthly distributions of USDA Commodity Foods will no longer be distributed at the Moose Lodge in Yadkinville. They will now be distributed on an on-going basis through “partner agencies” of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest N.C.
